PERRYSBURG - The Blessed John XXIII Employment Ministry and the Extreme Networking Group are offering a free seminar May 4 for job seekers and people who wish to pursue new endeavors.
"Getting Over the Wall" is a three-hour, intensive seminar that is designed to get candidates past hidden objections that are preventing them from getting an opportunity to meet with decision makers.
The seminar will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Master Chemical Corporation, 501 West Boundary St., Perrysburg.
Organizers will focus on three key areas:
• Resumes - Assuring your resume matches the job opportunity you're pursuing passes the "6 second eyeball test" and gets read.
• Networking - Building the pool of people who can help you in your search.
•  Interviewing - We will show you how to interview like a pro in 30 minutes and get the job.
New to this seminar are eight "Job Hunting Tactics" that you might not have tried.
The event will wrap-up with an open forum and a positive message of hope.
Parking is in the lot at the front of the building. Enter by the side door, near the ramp.
The training center is immediately inside the door.
Though there is no charge for the program, pre-registration is essential in order to assure availability of handouts, and unfortunately, space is limited.
Coffee, refreshments, and snacks will be provided.
To attend, RSVP to Joe Catalano at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it as soon as possible.
