The 577 foundation is located at 577 E. Front St. and is open 9 to 5 p.m. daily.
Adult pottery
18 years and older.
A comprehensive adult pottery class. This class is for adult beginners through advance potters. All
levels welcome to experience in-depth clay work. We will teach pinch, slab, coil and extruder
techniques. Learn the potter’s wheel and understand the techniques in glazing your pots. These skills
will be used in a variety of clay projects.
Limit: 12 people.
Tuesdays, Aug. 5, 12, 19 and 26, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Fee: $120.00
Saturday pottery featuring lids
Class provides intermediate and advance students pottery skill instructions, individual attention and
demonstrations. Pre-requisite: Taken the 577 adult pottery class.
Limit: 15 people.
Saturday, Aug. 9, 9 a.m. to noon.
Fee: $18.00
Saturday pottery featuring baking dish
Class provides intermediate and advance students pottery skill instructions, individual attention and
demonstrations. Pre-requisite: Taken the 577 adult pottery class.

Raku pottery
A fun evening finishing your pots in this Japanese style firing. Enjoy a potluck (bring a dish to share).
Pre-requisite: Taken the 577 adult pottery class and have three to five pots already bisque fired.
Limit: 15 people.
