A possible break-in attempt was reported on the western side of the city early Monday.
Bowling Green Police report that at approximately 3 a.m. a homeowner in the 700 block of Pine Valley Drive heard the door handle of their front door jiggle.
At the same time the resident's son observed a vehicle driving slowly past the home.
The vehicle was described as a white Chevy Trailblazer.

Somebody "thinking" they hear their door handle jingle is not a possible break in attempt!

Another news worthy story. I heard my window jiggle last night around 4 a.m., it might have been a break in attempt or the wind. I will keep the Sentinel Tribune up to date on this situation.

Don't forget that white trailblazer that was not speeding. Very suspicious. Maybe we need a neighborhood watch to pull them over.

We live on the west side, in the 'tree' subdivision. For several months we have had people ringing doorbells and running between 10pm and 5am. We don't have kids who live in the area so we don't know why this area is targeted.

For those speaking out about the 'thinking' portion of the story, if it was at your house, at the time of night, you too would question if you heard it or was your mind playing tricks on you.

I'm glad it is reported so we can be more aware of our surroundings and keeping our doors locked.

Sue, hearing random noises is not worth printing in a County newspaper. Perhaps, you should start your own newspaper about things people may have heard or think they saw!
