Police are looking for three men believed to be involved in an armed robbery at an apartment in the 500 block of North Enterprise Street Tuesday.
Bowling Green Police report that the incident took place at approximately 3 p.m. at the residence.
Three black male suspects, who ran northeast from the crime scene, are being sought by police. Officers had secured the scene of the robbery by 4:30 p.m. and an email alert sent out at that time indicated that the suspects were not believed to be in that area.
Maj. Tony Hetrick of the BG Police Division said that the suspects were armed with a handgun and took undisclosed property. He did state that the robbery may possibly be drug-related.
During investigation into the robbery, probable cause was developed against Timothy Sewell, 21, also a North Enterprise resident, and he was arrested on a charge of aggravated trafficking in drugs. He was taken to the Wood County jail, where he was still incarcerated this morning without bail.
Hetrick said that any potential connection Sewell may have to the robbery is yet to be determined.
Hetrick indicated that police are continuing to follow up on leads in the case.
