CYGNET – One person is dead after reportedly being pinned between a car and another structure on a property in the village this morning. First responders were notified of the incident at approximately 10:30 a.m. It is not known how long the person had been pinned before the incident was reported. Wood County Sheriff Mark Wasylyshyn confirmed this morning that the person – whose name has not been released — was found trapped between a car and a building on the property. "We don't know what happened yet," the sheriff said. Detectives were on scene as of 11 a.m. The Wood County Coroner's Office was called to the scene, as were two fire departments, Cygnet and Bloomdale. |
