Perrysburg woman held on inducing panic charge PDF Print E-mail

PERRYSBURG – A woman was arrested Monday after she walked into a local market and said she had a gun and a bomb.
Perrysburg Police report that at approximately 6:15 p.m. Kazmaier’s Market, 127 E. Second St., indicated that Cathy Rapp, 64, Perrysburg, walked into the business and stated “that she had in her possession a firearm and a bomb and would use those weapons if anyone got close to her,” according to a press release.
Officers responded to the business and quickly took Rapp into custody. She was not found to be armed with any weapons or devices.
Rapp was charged with inducing panic, a fourth-degree felony, and was incarcerated in the Wood County Jail with a $25,000 bond.
