LIME CITY - Perrysburg Township Trustees were given an original map of the township during a department heads meeting Wednesday.
The framed item made in 1875 was presented to the board by Ben Marsh, long-time solicitor of Maumee who is also an amateur historian and a collector of antique maps.
"I've got a bunch," Marsh said. "I want to give them to people who will appreciate them."
"That has got to be the nicest piece of art we have in the township," said Trustee Bob Mack.
Separately, trustees voted to cancel their Nov. 27 afternoon meeting and reschedule the Dec. 4 meeting to 2 p.m.
In other business, the board approved:
•    $143,365.25 for resurfacing of Five Point and Reitz roads, and another $2,026.25 for inspection and bidding of the work.
•    $5,150 to purchase extended warranties for two new police cruisers.
•    $1,172.44 for new office chairs for the police chief and deputy chief.
