PERRYSBURG - The City's Planning Commission will hear a controversial request for an outdoor cafe Thursday.
The 5th Street Pub, 109 W. Fifth Street, is seeking a special approval use for outdoor seating at the business.
However, a group of citizens has announced they will be presenting petitions against the move, citing noise and parking concerns.
Planning and Zoning Administrator Brodin Walters has recommended approval of the outdoor seating.
The commission is also expected to hear requests from the Perrysburg School District to install a total of five portable classroom units at Frank and Fort Meigs elementaries. Walters has also recommended approval of those issues.
The commission will meet at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers.
