TOLEDO — A Perrysburg resident and two Toledo residents face numerous charges following a multi-month investigation of Alexis Entertainment, LLC., at 505 East Alexis Road in Toledo.
Charges were filed Friday in Toledo Municipal Court by agents with the Ohio Investigative Unit. The investigation began after agents received complaints about prostitution and drug use taking place at the club.
Perrysburg resident Younes H. Dia, 43, has been charged with 24 counts each of illegally operating a sexually oriented business and personal liability of organizational conduct. Alexis Entertainment, LLC. was also charged with 24 counts each of illegally operating a sexually oriented business and criminal liability of organizations.
Jamie Lynn Russell, 36, of Toledo was charged with four counts of illegal sexually oriented activity in a sexually oriented business and three counts of trafficking in controlled substance. Toledo resident Whitney B. Wright, 38, was charged with one count of illegal sexually oriented activity in a sexually oriented business.
“The adult entertainment club owners and their staff must also follow Ohio’s liquor laws,” said Toledo District Agent-in-Charge Raymond Rodriguez. “Illegal activity such as those taking place at this location are a direct violation of the liquor permit.”
Administrative charges against the liquor permit were also filed. Those charges include 21 counts of nudity; 15 counts of solicitation for anything of value; 13 counts of engaging in sexual activity; and three counts each of public indecency, drug possession and drug sales.
Once all criminal charges have been addressed, the administrative charges will then be presented to the Ohio Liquor Control Commission for their consideration. The commission has the authority to issue penalties against the liquor permit including possible fines, suspensions or revocation.
