John B. McCrory, 49, of Mullberry Street, Perrysburg, was indicted by a Wood County Grand Jury last week on 14 counts of pandering sexually oriented material of a minor in sexual activity.
According to the indictment, 11 of the counts are alleged to have occurred on June 14, 2008; while the other three are listed for Jan. 30, 2008. All are second-degree felonies, with each case carrying a possible prison term of two to eight years.
In July of 2008, McCrory was indicted and charged with rape. He is alleged to have sexually assaulted a 19-year-old woman at his Perrysburg residence on June 22, 2008. A jury trial in that case is tentatively set for July 29.
According to Wood County Prosecutor Paul Dobson, the new charges may be combined as part of that trial. The decision would need to be made by Wood County Common Please Court Judge Robert Pollex, who is assigned to both the 2008 rape case and the new charges.
