Perrysburg man indicted for arson for Walbridge incident

A Perrysburg man was indicted for three counts of aggravated arson by a Wood County Grant jury last week.

Barry Lease, 33, was indicted on two counts of first-degree aggravated arson, and one count second-degree
aggravated arson in an incident in Walbridge.
According to the indictment, on or about Oct. 17 of last year Lease "did by means of fire or
explosion knowing cause physical harm" to a residence in the 29000 block of East Broadway Street.

Additionally, two men were reportedly in the residence at the time, and the indictment states that Lease
created "a substantial risk of serious physical harm" to them.
Additionally indicted were 19 people originally indicted in June of 2013. Many of the charges had stemmed
from the alleged "skimming" of credit cards, as well as theft and the use of store gift cards
gotten by returning stolen merchandize to stores without a receipt.
Those indicted were all from Toledo unless otherwise noted, and indicted for engaging in a pattern of
corrupt activity: Gregory Harris, 55; Jessica Sanchez, 24; Amber Jones, 22; Ashley Jones, 27; Otha
Randall, 18; Gregory Harris Jr., 28; Pierre Cunningham, 58; Jacqueline McGhee, 30; Leon Jackson Jr., 48;
Curtis Lee Anderson Jr., 52; Cletus Anderson, 48; Frankie Rayford Jr., 33; Frankie Rayford, 55; Jeremy
Sims, 33, Perrysburg; Jamaine Williams, 32; Anastasha White, 27; Cassandra Hall, 46.
Also in that group, Timothy Derby, 45, Perrysburg, was indicted for receiving stolen property. Both
Gregory Harris Sr. and Jackson were also indicted for money laundering, and Cunningham and Randall were
each also indicted for possession of heroin.
Peter Abdo, 39, currently of the Wood County jail, was indicted on two counts of gross sexual imposition.
He had previously been indicted last year on one count of sexual battery; that case is also pending.
Also indicted were:
• Aaron Blachuta, 22, Wayne, burglary.
• James Duncan, 34, Perrysburg, trespass in a habitation.
• Daniel Fields, 31, Toledo, burglary.
• Stephen Ireland, 29, Milton Center, failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer.
• Aaron Long, 28, North Baltimore, felonious assault, two counts of endangering children.
• Ricardo Oviedo Jr., 35, Perrysburg, violating a protection order.
• Andy Pearce, 22, Bradner, two counts of burglary.
• Gabriel Somogyi, 32, Pemberville, abduction, domestic violence.
Bills of information were handed up for:
• Joseph Benson, 28, currently of the Wood County Jail, forgery.
• Spencer King, 19, North Baltimore, trespass in a habitation.
