PERRYSBURG — A Perrysburg man was seriously injured Tuesday night in a hit-skip incident on Oregon Road south of Ohio 795.
At 10:45 p.m., the Bowling Green Patrol Post of the ohio Highway Patrol was contacted by St. Charles Hospital, Oregon, regarding a pedestrian that was involved in an injury crash at approximately 8:30 p.m.
Subsequent investigation revealed that the pedestrian, Robert F. Leonhardt, 33, of Perrysburg, was walking northbound on the shoulder along the east side of Oregon Road.  A dark colored, older model sedan, possibly a Toyota Camry or Corolla, struck Leonhardt and fled the scene.  The vehicle should have damage on the front passenger side and possibly the passenger side mirror.
OSP reports that Leonhardt, who sustained serious, non-life threatening injuries, was transported by a family member to the Hospital.  The crash remains under investigation, and anyone that witnessed the crash or has any additional information is asked to contact the Bowling Green Post at 419-352-2481.
