Rachael Fraley is the proud owner of 3 dogs, 2 cats and Paw Paw’s pet salon in Wayne.
Located at 113 E Main St, Paw Paw’s pet salon caters to “all breeds of dogs and cats.” Fraley, who has six years of grooming experience, can bathe and blow dry the animals, trim toe nails and brush their teeth as well as cut and style hair.
“I do give flea baths and special oatmeal or aloe baths for pets with sensitive skin,” she explains, “and can also express anal glands.”
Fraley has lived in Wood County for most of her life and currently resides in Wayne.
“I love Wayne,” Fraley explains. “There are no other grooming salons near here—people have to drive to Bowling Green, Findlay, Fostoria or Fremont to get their pet’s groomed. With Paw Paw’s being right in town, people say it’s very convenient.”
Paw Paw’s pet salon opened on July 8 of this year.
Fraley thinks “The customers are great. They treat me very well. They are excited that Wayne has a grooming salon.”
Not only is the E Main St location convenient, but Fraley’s hours are extremely flexible. “I go by when my customers need me to be open.”
“I always have my phone on me. If I don’t answer, leave a message after calling 419-601-4374 and I’ll return your call as soon as possible.”
Your pet will be in good hands with Fraley. She says, “One of my dogs needs groomed regularly and I try to keep her with a cute hairstyle.”
