ROSSFORD - Rossford Police have arrested one suspect connected with an alleged rape that occurred in October.
Arrested Thursday morning was Cornelius J. Taite, 35, of Toledo.
Warrants also have been issued for the following persons who are not yet in custody: Marquise L. Brown, 24; Howard L. Henderson, 24; and Dajuan L. Henderson, 27, all of Toledo.
All four suspects are charged with rape and sexual battery, both felony offences.
At about 4:50 a.m. on Oct. 26, police received a report that four suspects fled a home in Rossford after a 26-year-old female was raped.
Police have indicated the men were invited into the home near Dixie Highway and Lime City Road.
Police gathered evidence at the scene and obtained suspect information but awaited laboratory results of DNA testing and an indictment of the suspects by the Wood County Grand Jury Wednesday before issuing arrest warrants.
Police are not releasing victim information but she was taken to the hospital from the scene and was later interviewed by police.
Anyone with information regarding the suspect's location are encouraged to call 419-666-5230 Rossford Police Dispatch.
