FINDLAY – Hancock County deputies are seeking the assistance of the public in locating Andre L.D. White,
23, of the Van Buren area, in connection with an injury accident that occurred early Thursday on County
Road 140, just north of Township Road 107 in Portage Township.
The crash involved a 2007 Cadillac SUV which sustained heavy damage and the occupants fled the scene. A
passenger in the vehicle, William Carver, 33, was later located with severe injuries. Alcohol is
believed to be a factor in the crash.
The sheriff’s office is additionally investigating a stolen vehicle complaint which occurred in the area
of the crash. The vehicle was recovered by the Wood County Sheriff’s office and it is believed both
incidents are related.
White is wanted for questioning in the two incidents. Those with information as to his whereabouts are
