NORTHWOOD - A city woman was arrested Monday and is facing burglary charges after twice entering the same residence.
Northwood Police were called to a home in the 300 block of Farnstead Street just after 2:45 p.m. Friday on the report of an attempted burglary.
The suspect, Cathi Hill, 41, Northwood, had reportedly fled the scene while police were en route.
A resident said he had witnessed Hill, with whom he had a prior association, attempt to enter his home. He confronted Hill who, according to the police report said "that she was just diagnosed with terminal cancer."
The man told Hill he was calling the police, and she subsequently fled.
Hill was also arrested by police on Thursday for entering the same residence.
A warrant was issued for her arrest, and she was taken into custody on Monday.
Hill is facing charges of burglary and attempted burglary for the two incidents, and is to appear in Perrysburg Municipal Court on Aug. 6.
