The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce will present the Small Business of the Year Award at the 2014
Mid-Year Meeting.
This award recognizes businesses located within the Bowling Green city limits that demonstrate
achievement in management and workplace excellence, product innovation and community and social
responsibility.
Its purpose is to acknowledge publicly the contributions made by area companies to business growth in
Bowling Green, and to illustrate the talent in the Bowling Green business community.
Nomination forms for the 2014 Small Business of the Year Award are due to the Chamber on June 16 and are
available at www.bgchamber.net as well as at the Chamber office.
Nominated businesses may be any for-profit business headquartered in the city limits of Bowling Green
that meets the definition of a small business as defined by the Small Business Administration.
The company must be financially stable and operational for a minimum of five years, and must be an
Investor in good standing of the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce at the time the award is presented.

Award Recipients will receive the Small Business of the Year Award, to display in their place of
business, as well as being highlighted on the Chamber website as an award recipient, highlighted in the
Chamber’s quarterly newsletter, listed in the Chamber’s Annual Meeting program as 2014 Small Business of
the Year award recipient, and will receive press coverage through local media.
