Bowling Green is not conducting a heavy item trash pickup to coincide with the end of the spring semester at Bowling Green State University.
Earlier this year the city announced that the pickups would be conducted in March and the week of Sept. 16.
Options are to take the items to the Wood County Landfill, contact public works to arrange a pickup at a cost of $25 for the first item and $15 for each additional item, or work with a private hauler.
Items illegally placed in the public right-of-way will leave the property owner responsible for removal. The city may cite the owner or remove the materials and assess the property owner.
