NORTH BALTIMORE - Planned action at Tuesday's village council meeting was delayed due to a lack of quorum.
Half of the council's six members were absent from the meeting. Janet Goldner, Aaron Patterson and Jeff Bretz all were excused from the meeting.
Present were Greg Waaland, Leslee Thompson and Bill Cameron.
"Due to missing members we do not have a quorum, so we will not be voting on any issues tonight. However, we can discuss those issues," said Mayor Mike Julien.
Had there been a quorum, council would have voted on three-year contract with Henry Township for North Baltimore to provide its fire services.
Two other financial ordinances were also on the agenda, but also had to be tabled for a future meeting
