Motorcyclists injured in Fulton County crash PDF Print E-mail

METAMORA - Two residents of Luckey remain hospitalized after a crash on Ohio 120 in Fulton County Wednesday.
According to the Ohio State Highway patrol, at 12:05 p.m. Ronald Freitag Sr., Luckey, was driving a Harley-Davidson motorcycle westbound on Route 120, west of Metamora, when he traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a mailbox. He attempted to return to the roadway, but lost control, driving off the left side of the roadway and overturning.
Neither Freitag nor his wife and passenger, Tamara Freitag, Luckey, were wearing helmets, and both were ejected.
Both sustained incapacitating injuries and were taken by air ambulance to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo. Ronald Freitag was reported in fair condition there this morning, and Tamara Freitag was in critical condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
