Monday’s low temperature of minus 15 degrees broke a 90-year-old record for Jan. 6.
The previous record was minus 12 degrees in 1924.
The high Monday was 19 above zero.
The record low for today (Jan. 7) is minus 10 degrees set in 1912. Six years ago today Bowling Green
recorded a record high of 66 degrees.
The temperatures are recorded at the city’s waterwater treatment plant on North Dunbridge Road.
