Mom, toddler hurt in Tontogany crash

TONTOGANY – A mother and her young child were taken to area hospitals Friday following a crash at Ohio
235 and Long Judson Road, southwest of the village.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office reports that at approximately 10:30 a.m. Shirley Busselle, Bowling
Green, was stopped westbound on Long Judson Road at the posted stop sign when she failed to yield the
right-of-way and pulled into the intersection in the path of a northbound vehicle driven by Cherish
Bisher, Liberty Center.
Busselle struck Bisher’s vehicle on the rear portion of the passenger side, causing it to spin and strike
a tree.
Bisher was taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, by air ambulance with non-incapacitating
injuries. She was not listed as a patient there this morning.
Her child, Brayden Bisher, 21‚Ñ2, was taken to Wood County Hospital by Weston EMS with possible injuries.

Busselle did not claim any injuries.
The incident remained under investigation this morning.
