Men indicted for assault, burglary

Assault, vandalism, and burglary were among the charges handed down by a Wood County grand jury recently.

Johnboy Carles, 39, North Baltimore, was indicted on one count each of assault and vandalism following an
April 5 incident.
According to the indictment, Carles allegedly harmed or attempted to harm a North Baltimore police
officer and vandalized the police cruiser in the incident.
Julian Torrez, 24, Toledo, was indicted on three counts of burglary. He is additionally facing multiple
charges including intimidation, burglary, and theft from an elderly person or disabled adult from
previously indicted cases.
Also indicted were:
• Rhonda Brogan, 42, Bowling Green: grand theft.
• Rachel Combs, 38, Lima: failure to appear as required by recognizance.
• Jennifer Conley, age not available, North Baltimore: aggravated possession of drugs.
• Damien Epperson, 27, Southfield, Mich.; and Fredericka Wiley, 25, Detroit: receiving stolen property.

• Justin Mikels, 32, Walbridge: grand theft (two counts).
• Dontavias Moore, 22, Roseville, Mich.: forgery, forging identification cards or selling or distributing
forged identification cards, identity fraud.
• Cuong Tran, 52, Toronto, Canada: possessing criminal tools, trafficking in marijuana, possession of
marijuana.
• Niketa Williams, 41, Detroit: failure to appear as required by recognizance.
• Dustin Young, 31, Bowling Green: possession of heroin.
