Maumee River search called off PDF Print E-mail

The U.S. Coast Guard officially called off a search at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday for a boat that was reported to have been sinking on the Maumee River west of the Perrysburg bridge.

The search extended west as far as Grand Rapids.

Emergency crews on both sides of the river participated in the effort, which lasted more than an hour.
