|Man hurt in car-train crash|

A Helena man was injured and transported from the scene by air ambulance on Friday after his car collided with a train on U.S. 6 near Bradner.
According to a report from the Wood County Sheriff's office, Dennis Coble, 59, of Helena, was westbound in Freedom Township in the 2000 block of Route 6 around 12:55 p.m. when the crash occurred. His vehicle struck the side of a northbound CSX train as it passed through the crossing.
The report stated, "According to a witness the crossing lights and gates were operational at the time of the crash."
Coble was transported by helicopter to St. Vincent Hospital in Toledo. There were no passengers in his vehicle at the time of the crash and no one on the train was injured.
Coble was listed in stable condition this morning, according to a hospital representative.
