| Man dies in Bloom Township crash |

One man died and another man was seriously injured Sunday morning in an accident that was not discovered until several hours after it occurred. The Wood County Sheriff's Office reports that Mitchell Aring, a passenger in a vehicle driven by Matthew Nissen of Bowling Green, died at the scene. Nissen was taken to Toledo Hospital by air ambulance. The accident was reported at 6:27 in the 4000 block of Bloomdale Road. The mishap is believed to have taken place several hours earlier. Nissen was driving northbound when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the road. He over corrected then went off the left side of the road. The vehicle rolled several times then struck a tree. Additional details on the victim were not available. The incident remains under investigation. |
