|Man arrested with heroin|

A Whitehouse man remained incarcerated after heroin and multiple firearms were found in his vehicle early this morning.
Andrew Adams, 23, Whitehouse, is being held in the Wood County jail on $12,500 bond. He was to appear in court today.
Bowling Green Police report that just after 4:30 a.m. they arrived at the 200 block of South Main Street after an earlier crash reported on Clough and South Main Street.
Officers found the vehicle after it had apparently struck the curb on South Main Street and flattened two of its tires.
The driver, Adams, appeared "lethargic and dazed" and reportedly admitted to having heroin, as well as firearms, in the vehicle.
Three handguns were found in the car, as was a bag of a brown powdery substance believed to be heroin, assorted pills, and a bag of marijuana. A marijuana pipe was also reportedly found in Adams' possession.
He was arrested on charges including operating a vehicle while under the influence, possession of heroin, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He has not yet received charges related to the firearms.
