A Wood County woman is dead after the motorcycle she was riding struck debris on Interstate 29 in Union County in South Dakota.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol reports the accident happened just before noon on Saturday near Elk Point, according to KDLT News in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Brent Weaver was taken to a Sioux City hospital with serious injuries. Neither rider was wearing a helmet.
No further information was immediately available.
