Kiwanis hear CSX update
The Bowling Green Kiwanis Club will hear an update on the CSX Intermodal Terminal in southern Wood County
from General Manager Paul Hand at noon on Thursday at Stone Ridge Golf Club.
Rotary Club installs officers
The Bowling Green Rotary Club will present awards and install new officers when it meets Thursday at
11:40 a.m. at the Bowling Green Country Club.
Neighborhood group meets
The East Side Residential Neighborhood Group will have a meeting Thursday at 7 p.m. The meeting will be
in the All Purpose Room at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church at 315 S. College Drive.
There will be a presentation on the Future Land Use Update in particular how it will affect the East
Side.
Refreshments will be served.
Pita Pit serves BG’s Lunch in the Park
Bowling Green Parks and Recreation will welcome Pita Pit for Friday’s Lunch in the Park series.
Ragtime Rick & Banjo Betsy will begin at 11:30 a.m. and food will be available for purchase from
11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The lunch is held rain or shine.
Casinos see revenue slump in June
The state’s four voter-approved casinos saw a revenue slump in June similar to colder months this year.

The Ohio Casino Control Commission released the latest revenue numbers Monday. June revenues totaled
about $63.6 million – down by about 7 percent compared to a year ago.
Cincinnati’s casino grossed about $15.3 million last month. That’s below what it saw in January and
February, when Ohio was hit with bitter cold.
Casinos in Cleveland and Toledo saw revenues about on par with their February figures. Columbus’ casino
reported almost $15.9 million last month, about $1.6 million below its February revenue.
