Man cited in BG crash
A Deshler man was cited following a crash that laid down a motorcycle on North Main Street Sunday.
Bowling Green Police said this morning that Cletus Shaub, 56, Deshler, was cited for assured clear
distance ahead in the incident, which was reported at 3:58 p.m. at 1058 N. Main St.
The driver of the motorcycle was identified as William Instone, 69, of Bowling Green.
Additional details, including any injuries in the incident, were not immediately available this morning.

BG’s Civil Service group meets
The Bowling Green Civil Service Commission will meet at 9 a.m. Friday in the Personnel Director’s Office
of the City Administrative Services Building.
The purpose of the meeting is to take all actions necessary to establish eligibility lists, and/or
certify names of candidates deemed eligible for consideration for hire or promotion to classified
positions. Action will also be taken, as necessary, to modify, add, or abolish job descriptions, and to
establish classified positions.
