Johnny Knorr Orchestra at City Park
The Johnny Knorr Orchestra will perform big band music at the Concert in the Park on Sunday.
The event will begin at 7 p.m. at the Needle Hall Stage in City Park.
The concert is hosted by Bowling Green Parks and Recreation, with title sponsor B.G. Transit and
supporting sponsors BGSU’s Division of Student Affairs and T.J. Maxx.

Theft from vehicle investigated
Police are investigating theft from a vehicle near a downtown business that occurred July 11.
They report that a car in the parking lot adjacent to the southwest corner of Ace Hardware had a window
broken out and numerous items stolen from the vehicle.
The theft occurred between 1:30 and 4 p.m. A reward is being offered for assistance in identifying the
perpetrator.
Those with any information regarding this theft are asked to call the Bowling Green Police Division at
419-352-1131 or Wood County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-54-CRIME.
BG Council meets Monday
Bowling Green City Council will meet Monday at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers in the City Building.
Port Authority meets Monday
The Wood County Port Authority will hold its regular meeting Monday at 7:30 a.m. at Northwestern Water
and Sewer, 12560 Middleton Pike.
Tontogany Fest committee gathers Tues.
TONTOGANY – There will be a Tontogany festival committee meeting next Tuesday at Doc’s at 7 p.m.

The festival begins Friday, Aug. 8 at 6 p.m. with entertainment by Rizzo.
