Sex assault reported in BG
A gross sexual imposition incident was reported Sunday on East Court Street.
Bowling Green Police responded to the matter just before 8:30 p.m. in the 100 block of East Court.
The female victim was reportedly transported to Wood County Hospital.
The act was reportedly committed by an unknown subject that was in an apartment with the victim at the
time. No suspect has yet been identified.
An investigation in the matter is pending.
Business update is BG Rotary topic
Bob Huey, plant manager at Cooper Standard in Bowling Green will be the Rotary Club guest at its meeting
Thursday.
The meeting will start at 11:40 a.m. at the Bowling Green Country Club.
Rossford PD seek help to ID bike thief
ROSSFORD – City police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who reportedly stole a bicycle
at the Rossford Public Library and was caught on camera.
Police say that on Monday the man walked into the library, used the restroom, and then walked out the
front door, taking a black and red Trek mountain bike that was left outside by another library patron.

The bike is valued at $600.

Stolen vehicle found in MO
A man and woman were arrested after they reportedly stole a vehicle in Bowling Green and took it to
Missouri.
The incident was reported Friday morning.
Information from Bowling Green Police indicated the vehicle was last seen on Thursday at Days Inn, 1740
E. Wooster St.
The vehicle was later located in Green County, Missouri. Randy Spainhour, 41, Forest City, North
Carolina, and Denise Ewing, 52, Johnstown, Pennsylvania, were arrested and each charged with grand theft
of a motor vehicle and theft.
