E. Evers Ave. closed in BG
East Evers Avenue, between North Main and North Prospect streets, is closed today and Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Access to driveways in the closure area will be maintained but access will only be permitted from North Prospect.
The closure is in association with the ongoing waterline project on North Main Street.

BG board considers levy strategy
The Bowling Green Board of Education will hold a special meeting on Wednesday at 5 p.m. at the Central Administration Building, 140 S. Grove St. This meeting is for the purpose of discussing levy strategy. No official board action will be taken.

PERS meets Thursday in BG
The Wood County PERS will meet Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Wood County Senior Center. Robert Barr of the Salvation Army will be the guest speaker.

Meal & music for Otsego senior citizens
GRAND RAPIDS - On Friday, Otsego senior citizens are invited to Hosanna Lutheran Church to hear the Otsego High School cast members of "Little Shop of Horrors" perform at 11:30 a.m. Janine Baughman and her students are preparing for the March 18-21 performances of this classic musical.
Following the mini-concert, seniors citizens are invited to attend the weekly lunch prepared by the WCCOA. This week the program will be first and the luncheon will follow at 12:15 p.m.  The choices this week are Swedish meatballs or breaded pollack.  The cost if you are over 60 is $2 and, if you are under 60, it is $5. Call (419) 832-3801 by Thursday afternoon to make a reservation.

Steak & karaoke Saturday at VFW
VFW Post 1148 has planned a steak fry and karaoke for Saturday.
The steak fry runs from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the post. Any remaining tickets will be available at the door Saturday.
Karaoke runs from 8 p.m. to midnight.
Both events are open to the public at 719 S. Main St., Bowling Green.
