Help requested in Pemberville
PEMBERVILLE — The Village of Pemberville is compiling a list of volunteers that would be willing to
assist residents with either filling or stacking of sand bags or any other necessary help should
flooding be imminent.
Anyone who is interested should email contact information including name, email address and phone number

Four arrested for prostitution
ROSSFORD – Four men were arrested in a recent prostitution sting at a hotel near the city.
According to a Friday press release from the Wood County Sheriff’s Office, that agency, the Rossford
Police Department, Perrysburg Township Police, the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, and the Ohio Bureau
of Criminal Identification and Investigation conducted the joint vice operation.
Arrested for solicitation of prostitution, a third-degree misdemeanor, were Timothy R. Hartzler, 65,
Bluffton; Gary E. Noplis, 42, Palmyra, Mich.; Jim A. Pheils, 46, Toledo; and Michael W. Pinter, 35,
Lyon, Mich.
NB Council to discuss EMS
NORTH BALTIMORE — The Public Safety Committee of the North Baltimore Village Council will hold a meeting
on Monday in council chambers at 5:30 p.m. to discuss items relating to the EMS.
Milton Township zoning organizes
MILTON CENTER — The Milton Township Zoning Commission will hold an organizational meeting Tuesday at 6:30
p.m. in the Milton Township Fire Hall.
The zoning board of appeals meeting will follow at 7 p.m.
