One killed in I-75 crash
NORTH BALTIMORE – The identity of a person who died in an accident early this morning on Interstate 75
near the village is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The Bowling Green Post of the Ohio Highway Patrol reports a 2014 Nissan Versa rammed the rear of the 1989
Peterbilt tractor-trailer at 1:50 near milepost 169 in southern Wood County.
The driver of the Versa was killed. A passenger, Jessica King, 23, of Kanawha, W. Va., was taken to St.
Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo. The patrol indicated King was in serious condition.
The driver of the truck, Kenneth Mossbarger, 42, of Tipp City, was not injured.
The northbound lanes of I-75 were closed for approximately two hours after the crash.
Time capsules dedicated in Walbridge
WALBRIDGE – The centennial committee is inviting the community to attend Wednesday’s council meeting in
the town hall at 6:30 p.m. for the dedication of the two centennial time capsules.
One will be opened in 25 years, and the other is to be opened in 50 years.
The centennial year scrapbook will also be presented to the Walbridge Library.
This will be the final opportunity to purchase the Centennial Cook Book, Walbridge-Lake Alumni photo
book, and T-shirts. Items will be available at the library until Wednesday.
Blood drive in BG Saturday
An American Red Cross blood drive will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Bowling Green Covenant
Church, Haskins Road at Wren Road.
