Flood drop-off in Pemberville
PEMBERVILLE - Residents of the village have a place to dispose of items damaged by flood waters.
The village has placed a large dumpster on Water Street just below the bridge, across from the Freedom Township House.
The dumpster will be available for approximately one week.

Sex assault in Perrysburg
PERRYSBURG - A sexual assault incident was reported in the city over the weekend.
The incident was reported Saturday in the 26000 block of North Dixie Highway at 6:03 p.m.
The matter has been referred to a detective.

BG food Friday
The monthly Bowling Green food distribution will be Friday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 1526 E. Wooster St.

Perrysburg seeks new utilities director
PERRYSBURG - An early task for officials in 2014 will be to seek a new director of public utilities.
Tim Warren, who currently holds the position, has stepped aside effective today. He was hired in the summer of 2012 and plans to return to working in the private sector, according to city Administrator Bridgette Kabat.
During a brief discussion at Monday's Health, Sanitation and Public Utilities Committee meeting, representatives learned officials will take their time filling the position, including by publishing the opening in trade publications, some of which are only released periodically.
