Sentinel-Tribune closes office in Perrysburg
The Sentinel-Tribune has closed its Perrysburg office.
Perrysburg residents can contact the newspaper by calling (419) 352-4611 or its toll-free Toledo number, (419) 385-7311. They also may contact the newspaper through its web site at www.sent-trib.com.

Webster Twp. meets Monday
The Webster Township Trustees will hold their year-end meeting on Monday at 7:30 a.m. at the Webster Township hall.
The re-organizatonal meeting will be held at the regular meeting on Jan. 14, 7:30 am.

BGPD officers are promoted
Two Bowling Green police officers were officially promoted Thursday afternoon during a meeting of city council.
Mayor Richard Edwards administered the oath of office to Lt. Danny Mancuso and Sgt. Michael Bengela.
The officers were joined by their families as they took the oath.
The promotions are the result of the retirement earlier this year of Lt. Ken Fortney.
The city's 2013 budget, approved by council Thursday, includes funding to fill three of four vacancies in the police division.

Police look into armed robbery
NORTHWOOD - Police are investigating an armed robbery which took place Christmas Eve at a gas station in the city.
Northwood Police report that just before 11:30 p.m. a suspect, wearing a white mask and a hood, entered the Shell station at 2488 Oregon Road and brandished a firearm, thought to be a 9mm handgun.
The suspect, identified as a white male, then left, taking with him an unknown amount of cash.
The department is reportedly attempting to get surveillance video from surrounding businesses to collect further details.
Additional information was not available due to the ongoing nature of the case.
