Two arrested on Christmas
Two Michigan men were arrested Christmas Day on stolen property and other charges in the city.
Bowling Green Police report that Joseph Benson, 27, and Justin Benson, 18, both of Clarkston, Mich., were arrested for receiving stolen property and forgery at a business in the 1000 block of East Wooster Street.
The incident occurred at 10:47 p.m.
Additionally, both were cited for possession of marijuana (less than 100 grams).
Justin Benson was also arrested on an active warrant out of Cherokee County, Ga., for receiving stolen property involving a stolen vehicle.
Joseph Benson was further cited for no operator's license.
Both men were taken to the Wood County jail, where they were lodged without bond.
Bloom Twp. meets Monday
Bloom Township Trustees will hold their year-end meeting on Monday at 7 p.m. at the township hall, on Oil Center Road.
Liberty Township to meet Monday
RUDOLPH - Liberty Township Trustees will hold their year-end meeting Monday at 7:30 a.m. in the Township Hall in Rudolph.
