Luminaria due Tuesday nightFor the 33rd consecutive year the community of New Rochester will stage
their Christmas Eve display of the luminaria in the tradition of "lighting the way for the Christ
Child".This year’s display will consist of approximately 600 luminaria. The public is invited to come
see this traditional Christmas Eve event which will begin at dusk.The community of New Rochester is located
at the intersections of U.S. 6 and Ohio 199 and North River Road, approximately six miles east of Bowling
Green.Several freed from elevatorFirefighters were called to rescue occupants from an elevator on the campus
of Bowling Green State University Friday.The incident was reported at 5:31 p.m. at Offenhauer East Residence
Hall, 704 E. Merry Ave.According to a report, multiple victims were stuck in an elevator on the 10th floor.
They were removed without incident in less than 30 minutes.This is the first such incident to be reported at
the university since September.Montgomery to meet SaturdayBRADNER – Montgomery Township Trustees had
scheduled their end-of-year meeting for Dec. 28 at 9 a.m. in the township building.Beginning in January the
regular meetings will start at 5:30 p.m. through the end of March and continue to be held on the first and
third Tuesdays.The meeting time will switch to 7 p.m. starting with the first meeting in April.Henry
Township meeting tonightThe Henry Township Trustees are moving the meeting that would normally be Tuesday to
