Four area police officers graduate
Three Bowling Green Police Division officers and one Bowling Green State University officer were among 23 graduates Friday from the 130th Basic Police Office Class of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Chief Monica Moll of the BGSU Police Department was the featured speaker.
Bowling Green officer Caleb M. Kusmierek, of Maumee, received the top physical fitness award.
Also graduating from BGPD were Adam J. Cox, of Risingsun, and Richard M. Torres, of Toledo.
BGSU's graduate officer is Bryan L.D. Wynn, of Perrysburg.
This is the first class to utilize Ohio Casino Training funds to cover training costs for the 17-week course.

Dinner at Luckey Monday night
LUCKEY - Sharing Hands will be serving its December meal Monday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at American Legion Post No. 240, 335 Park Ave., Luckey,
Everyone in the Eastwood School district is invited.  
The menu consists of ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, various holiday salads, rolls and butter, pies, and beverages.

BG BPU canceled
Monday's scheduled meeting of the Bowling Green Board of Public Utilities has been canceled due to a lack of agenda items.
The next scheduled meeting is Jan. 13 at 5 p.m.

Freedom trustees change meeting
PEMBERVILLE - The Board of Trustees of Freedom Township have cancelled their Tuesday meeting and have scheduled their end-of-year meeting for Dec. 30 at 10 a.m. at the Township Hall in Pemberville.

Caroling event Sunday canceled
WALBRIDGE - The Centennial Committee has canceled the caroling planned for Sunday due to the weather forecast.

Sodexo (Heartland of Perrysburg) is the Community Employment Services of Wood Lane employer of the month.
