Thieves take $1,400 from BG MeijerNearly $1,400 in merchandise was reportedly stolen from the
Bowling Green Meijer store on Sunday.According to Bowling Green police, at 7:45 p.m. officers were advised
that Meijer staff were chasing after subjects who had taken merchandise from the store.They left the store
in a dark green Chevy Malibu and exited onto Dunbridge Road.The subjects reportedly stole 11 Leap Pad
Leapster devices, valued at a total of $1,399.89.Christmas trees recycledThe Wood County Park District will
accept Christmas trees for recycling Dec. 26 through Jan. 10.Make sure all decorations have been removed,
and look for signs indicating where to drop trees off at the following Wood County parks:• Pemberville area
