Christmas lights cut downtownChristmas lights were reportedly cut in front of a downtown
business.The incident was reported Tuesday.Bowling Green Police were called to a business in the 100 block
of East Wooster Street on the report that the string of lights had been cut on the light pole in the
area.The incident reportedly occurred sometime over the weekend. Damage was estimated at $100.This was the
second such incident to be reported in the area.Break-in to take a shower?HOYTVILLE – An unknown suspect
apparently needed a place to get clean last week when they broke into a village home and used the shower.The
Wood County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Dec. 4, the victim returned to his home in the 19000 block of
East Church Street and found evidence of forcible entry at his residence.Nothing was reportedly missing, but
the man stated that the shower in the upstairs of the residence appeared to have been used.Health board
meets ThursdayThe Wood County Board of Health will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the health district board
room.3 lawn mowers stolen in countyThree lawn mowers were reported stolen in incidents reported by the Wood
County Sheriff’s Office.The most recent incidence of mower theft was reported on Sunday. The mower was
stolen between Dec. 1 and Dec. 8 in the 12000 block of Nims Road, rural Bowling Green.In that incident, a
barn had been entered and the riding lawn mower had been removed by unknown suspects.Another riding lawn
mower was reportedly stolen in the 100 block of South Garfield Road, Bloomdale, between Nov. 29 and Dec. 2.
The mower had been stored next to a building.The third mower was reported stolen on Dec. 1 in the 300 block
of East Main Street, Bairdstown.That mower had also been stored beside a building, and had been taken
