County health committee meets
The personnel committee of the Wood County Board of Health will meet at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Wood County Health District.

Northwood man arrested for burglary, assault
LIME CITY - A Northwood man was arrested Nov. 26 on charges including burglary and assault.
John Clemons, 48, was arrested for burglary, a second-degree felony, assault, a first-degree misdemeanor, and criminal trespass, a fourth-degree misdemeanor.
According to Perrysburg Township Police, he reportedly entered the residence of a family member in the 29000 block of Oregon Road and began to yell at the occupant. After being told to leave, he allegedly began punching the resident and a struggle ensued. Clemons then left the residence and was later taken into custody by police after being located on the Owens Community College campus.
His case is next scheduled for a hearing in Perrysburg Municipal Court on Dec. 12.

•    Poinsettia Tour, 1 to 2 p.m. Dec. 6, Bostdorff's Greenhouse Acres - Come learn about new varieties of poinsettias through the poinsettia trials. Three lucky people will win one of these winter beauties to take home with them.
•    Old-Time Holiday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 7, Zimmerman School/Carter Historic Farm - Experience 1890s holiday activities in a one-room school, complete with a schoolmaster; then make a depression era holiday treat with the lady of the house at the farm.
•    Winter Tree I.D., 3 to 5 p.m. Dec. 8, Bradner Preserve, Fostoria Road entrance - Anyone can tell you it's a maple tree by looking at the leaves; however, you can really impress people by learning to identify different types of trees in the winter without the leaves.

On Saturday, partly cloudy with highs in the mid 20s.
