Man pleads guilty to arsonA Clay Center man pleaded guilty Monday in Wood County Court of Common
Pleas to arson.Nathan Stewart, 34, appeared in the courtroom of Judge Reeve Kelsey.The plea stemmed from an
incident earlier this year in which Stewart reportedly caused in excess of $1,000 in damage to the
mechanical room at Love’s Travel Center, Perrysburg.He was originally indicted on three fourth-degree felony
counts of arson, but pleaded guilty to one count following a plea agreement.The matter is to go to
sentencing on Jan. 27 at 11 a.m.Police warn of phone scamPolice are warning residents to be wary about a
recent telephone scam.The Bowling Green Police Division received a report on Sunday of a telephone call
received by a resident soliciting funds for "Shop with a Cop."The caller indicated he was John
Miller of the BGPD. No such officer exists and the BGPD does not solicit funds by phone or for "Shop
with a Cop." This scam has also been reported in other areas of Northwest Ohio.Police are reminding
citizens to never give out personal information to anyone they do not know and to be certain of the
legitimacy of a charity before sending money.Tickets for PHS Crystal Concert on sale nowPERRYSBURG – The
Crystal Concert is Dec. 3-4 at 7 p.m. in the Perrysburg High School auditorium.Patron tickets are on sale
tonight from 7 to 8 p.m. outside the high school auditorium.General public tickets go on sale today and Dec.
2.Senior Stingers will be allowed one complimentary ticket and can pick them up the night of Dec. 2 from 7
to 8 p.m. and must have their Stinger Pass with them when they come to pick up the ticket.Tickets will also
