Food for fines at three libraries
Pemberville Public Library and branches in Stony Ridge and Luckey  will be collecting "Food for Fines" during the month of December.  
Donations of non-perishable, non-expired foods will be accepted and will benefit the food bank in each community.  
Food items will be accepted for overdue fines only.  
Fees for lost or damaged materials are excluded from this offer.

Buy tickets for Crystal Concert
PERRYSBURG - Perrysburg High School's Crystal Concert is Dec. 3 and 4 and 7 p.m. in the auditorium.
Patron tickets are on sale Monday and Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. outside the auditorium. General public tickets will be sold Tuesday and Dec. 2. Senior Stingers will be allowed one complimentary ticket and can pick them up Dec. 2 from 7 to 8 p.m. and must have their pass with them. Tickets will also be on sale one hour prior to each concert.

Home break-ins reported
A number of break-in incidents were reported in Wood County on Wednesday.
The Wood County Sheriff's Office reports that break-ins were reported at outbuildings on a property in the 21000 block of Mermill Road, Custar, and at a garage and home in the 20000 block of Brook Lane, Weston.
An apparent attempted break-in was also reported in the 18000 block of Lemoyne Road, Pemberville.
A burglary, in which jewelry was stolen, was reported in the 19000 block of Lemoyne Road, Luckey.

Bake sale benefit is Wednesday
Phipps Levin and Hebeka general dentistry office in the Wood County Medical Building will hold its sixth annual bake sale Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
All proceeds will benefit the Salvation Army and local families in need.

A 40 percent chance of snow at night with lows in the 20s. Mostly cloudy Wednesday with highs in the 30s. Lows in the 20s. Partly sunny Thanksgiving day with highs in the 30s. Cold with lows around 20.
