BG crash injures one
One person was injured after a crash on East Wooster Street Thursday.
Bowling Green Police report that at 8:31 p.m. Ashley Garr, BG, was turning left onto East Wooster from a private drive at 1548 E. Wooster St. when she failed to yield the right of way and was struck by an eastbound vehicle driven by Alexa Kennedy, BG.
Kennedy sustained non-incapacitating injuries and was taken to Wood County Hospital by Bowling Green Fire/EMS.
Garr was cited for right of way from a private drive.

OVI check today in Northwood
The Northwood Police Department, in conjunction with the Lucas County DUI Taskforce, will conduct an OVI checkpoint on Woodville Road today.
The purpose of the checkpoint is to help deter and intercept motorists that have made the choice to operate a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

Stimmel's farm market goes until Nov. 23
Stimmel's Saturday Farmers' Market will continue to Nov. 23.
Brussel sprouts, apples, local honey and maple syrup, and local beef will be available.
The market runs every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Stimmel's is located at 1220 W. Wooster St., Bowling Green.

Puppet Pals tutoring at library
Puppet Pals, a free tutoring program for students in kindergarten through fifth grade, continues at the Wood County District Public Library.
Trained tutors from BGSU Martha Gesling Weber Reading Center provide homework help, listen to and assist in reading aloud, and use puppets to encourage creative storytelling and other language skills.
The 30-minute sessions are Mondays through Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursdays from 4 to 6 p.m.
Drop in to the library any time to sign up. Caregivers are expected to remain in the building during tutoring.

Lake Township Trustees change meeting
MILLBURY - The Nov. 5 regular meeting of the Lake Township Trustees has been moved to Nov. 6, due the election.
The meeting will start at 5:30 p.m. in the administration building on Cummings Road.
