Health District seeks plan input
The Wood County Health District is looking for public comment on its emergency operations plan. The plan is designed to help the health district respond to events such as natural disasters and major disease outbreaks. Because the actions outlined in the plan can affect everyone in the county, input from citizens is essential.
The plan outlines anticipated actions to be taken by the health district to prevent, prepare for, respond to, recover from, and mitigate incidents that could negatively impact Wood County and its citizens. Public comment can help identify weaknesses in the plan.
To review the plan and provide comments, suggestions or feedback, go to http://www.co.wood.oh.us/healthdepartment/emergencyprep.html or http://bit.ly/19nmyBK.
