Otsego choir concert tonight
TONTOGANY - Otsego Choir Concert will be tonight at 7 p.m. in the auditorium
The show will feature the Concert Choir, Men's Choir, Women's Choir, The Otsego Chorale, Swing Choir, "Knightmusik" and Women's Octet.
BGSU student teacher Benji Cates will also be directing the concert along with Otsego's Choir Director Janine Baughman.
The concert is free and open to the public.
BG candidates take to the radio
Local radio station 88.1 FM is hosting forums for candidates for Bowling Green elected positions.
Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. will include the four candidates for the two council-at-large seats.
On Monday at 7 a.m., the discussion will be with the two candidates for 4th Ward council.
This morning was with the three Bowling Green Board of Education candidates.
Traffic Comm. cancels meeting
The Bowling Green Traffic Commission scheduled for Wednesday has been canceled for lack of agenda items.
Owens offers Middle Eastern talk, lunch
Owens Community College is inviting community members to a Middle Eastern themed luncheon and discussion with local physician and author, Dr. S. Amjad Hussain.
This event is part of a series titled, "American Stories: Muslim Journeys." Through this series of discussions, related films screenings, and Muslim Journeys bookshelf, participants will learn new perspectives on the people, places, history, faith and cultures of Muslims in the United States and around the world.
The event is Thursday from noon to 1 p.m. in Owens' Terrace View Cafe on the main campus.
Tickets for the luncheon are $8.50 each.
Workshop set for iPad users
PERRYSBURG - On Thursday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in a workshop designed for iPad users, Way Library's technology staff will teach basic skills such as creating folders, force closing apps, removing apps, and installing apps, plus training in how to download eBooks and Audiobooks from the library's digital catalog and more.
No registration is required for this free workshop, but attendees should bring their Apple ID and password to get the most benefit from it.
