Devlac Hall open house
Devlac Hall in Bowling Green will be hosting a 20th anniversary open house on Friday from 2:30 to 5 p.m.
The public is invited to meet the staff, tour the facility and have refreshments. Speakers, slated at 3 p.m., will be Tracy Plouck, director of Ohio Mental Health and Addiction Services; Ohio Sen. Randall Gardner and Ohio Rep. Tim Brown from Wood County; as well as Devlac alumnae.
Devlac is a residential program for women of childbearing age, pregnant women, and women with dependent children seeking sobriety in the wake of drug addiction, often tied to prescription drugs. Staff address chemical dependency, mental health and trauma issues through counseling, parenting and family programming. Devlac serves out-of-county rural women as well as in-county women and their children.
The hall is located at 1033 Devlac Grove, off West Gypsy Lane Road.

Warrant issued for BG man
Bowling Green Police have issued a warrant for a man who assaulted two others Wednesday night.
Lonnie Wells, 40, of South Church Street, BG, is charged with attempted felonious assault and domestic violence after an incident at Quarters Bar and Grill, 1234 N. Main St. at 5:30 p.m.
A restaurant employee called police, according to Deputy Chief Tony Hetrick.
Wells reportedly assaulted a male and a female household member.

One injured in Sunday crash
RISINGSUN - One woman was injured in a crash on U.S. 23 in the village on Sunday.
According to the Wood County Sheriff's Office, Shain Owens, Fostoria, was northbound on Route 23 in the 200 block when he made a left-hand turn into the path of James Moore, Springfield, who was southbound on Route 23.
Injured was Moore's right-front passenger, Vicki Moore, Springfield, who sustained non-incapacitating injuries and was taken to Fostoria Community Hospital by Bradner EMS.
Owens was cited for right of way when turning left.
