Three people hurt in crashes
Three people were injured in two separate Thursday morning accidents in the northern part of the county.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol reports that two people were injured in a crash reported at 3:52 a.m. on Interstate 75 at milepost 188, west of Dowling.
Information indicated that a Ford Taurus was rear-ended by a commercial vehicle in the crash.
One person was injured in a 9:01 a.m. incident at Latcha Road and Woodland Court in Lake Township.
The accident involved a single vehicle which rolled over.
The driver was reportedly taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, for treatment of their injuries.
Full names, and additional details, were not available this morning for either of the incidents.

BG Eagles host poker run for Toys for Tots
The Bowling Green Eagles will hold a poker run for Toys for Tots, Saturday starting at 1163 N. Main St.
Breakfast will be available at 9 a.m.
The first bike will go out at 11:30 a.m. and the last at noon.
Registration is $20, or $15 with a toy donation.

Conservative speaks in BG
An ad hoc group of area conservatives will host a talk with Matt Mayer, founder and President of Opportunity Ohio, Oct. 23  at 11:30 a.m. at Stimmel's Market, 1220 W. Wooster St. in Bowling Green.
Mayer is also chief operating officer of The Liberty Foundation for America. Previously, Mayer wrote and spoke on national security and federalism issues as a visiting fellow with The Heritage Foundation.
Mayer is the author of two books, "Homeland Security and Federalism: Protecting America from Outside the Beltway" and "Taxpayers Don't Stand a Chance: Why Battleground Ohio Loses No Matter Who Wins (And What To Do About It)."

Wayne Library combines meetings
WAYNE - The Wayne Public Library Board has combined its October and November meetings into one, that will be held Nov. 4 at 1 p.m.
